Scrumble

Scrumble is a high energy, physics based multiplayer party game built for up to 10 players. It’s all about the chaos: you’ll be fighting against friends or random opponents online, trying your absolute best not to fall off the platforms. The goal is simple: be the last person standing while everyone else is flying off into the void. We built the backbone of the game using Mirror Networking and Steamworks to make sure the multiplayer experience feels solid.

What is Scrumble?

We are currently in Early Access, which means you’re getting in on the ground floor of a truly unpredictable physics experience. Every character uses a Rigidbody system, so they move, react, and ragdoll realistically (and hilariously) based on every hit they take. We’re working hard to keep the game fresh with new mini games, cosmetics, and gameplay mechanics being added regularly during development.

Key Features

• Physics Based Mayhem: Every push, slap, and knockback is handled entirely by the physics engine. Seeing your character turn into a ragdoll and then watching them struggle to scramble back to their feet is where the real comedy happens.

• 10 Player Support: Thanks to our Steam integration, setting up a lobby or jumping into a friend's game is incredibly easy.

• Interactive Lobby: No more boring menus while you wait. You can jump into the lobby area to practice your slaps on punching bags and warm up for the next round.

The Mini Games

Each match is a surprise, as the server picks from a pool of different mini games to keep things interesting:

• Hot Potato: The clock is ticking. Slap someone to pass the bomb before it blows you sky high.

• Color Match: Keep your eyes peeled for the right color. Stand on it before the rest of the floor disappears.

• Lava Rise: It’s a race against the heat! Use the trampolines to keep climbing before the lava catches up.

• Fan Frenzy and Wind Turbine: Powerful winds are trying to sweep you off. Hide behind walls or crouch down to stay safe.

• Sumo: A classic battle on a shrinking, icy arena. Push your rivals out to claim victory.

Important: How to Play Online

To enjoy the online multiplayer features, you need to add Scrumble to your Steam library as a non-Steam game. This is because the game uses Steamworks for its networking and lobby system. It only takes a few seconds:

1. Open Steam and go to your Library.
2. Click Games in the top menu bar or click Add a Game at the bottom left.
3. Select Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library.
4. Browse and select the game executable for your platform:
   • Windows: Scrumble.exe
   • Linux: Scrumble.x86_64
   • macOS: Scrumble.app
5. Launch the game through Steam and you are ready to slap
